We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Southampton. This is an exciting chance to help children thrive both academically and personally in a supportive, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do:-
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum

Support pupils' academic development and emotional well-being

Provide targeted instruction in both 1:1 and small group settings

Track and assess student progress, adapting your approach where needed

Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support each child’s learning journey

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Applications welcome from ECTs, overseas-trained, or trainee teachers
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
A team-focused, empathetic approach with a commitment to student success

Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in an educational setting
-
Right to work in the UK

Updated CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
