CMA are delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant on behalf of a highly reputable organisation within the sports sector, based right in the heart of Southampton.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where passion, performance, and progression are truly valued.

This interim position is expected to run for approximately two months, supporting the finance function during a particularly busy period. However, with the company continuing to grow and broaden its operations, there is genuine potential for the contract to be extended for the right candidate.

What will the Purchase Ledger role involve?

  • Validate and process supplier invoices for payment via the database as well as manual entry
  • Review Purchase Orders
  • Reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger
  • Resolving invoice and payment queries
  • Setting up new supplier accounts

Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger vacancy:

  • Strong experience in a previous role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Good communication skills and ability to build working relationships internally and externally
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
