Junior QC Officer Required!

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer based in Southampton.

We are looking to recruit a Junior QC Officer on behalf of our client. In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to build or grow a career in quality control within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Package:

  • Salary from 25,000 (DOE)
  • Annual company bonus
  • 28 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Full BRCGS food-grade training will be provided

Junior QC Officer - Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine quality checks and inspections of products and materials.
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating BRCGS documentation and quality records.
  • Preparing clear and accurate reports on quality control findings.
  • Supporting production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Junior QC Officer - Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality control is an advantage
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Detail-oriented & methodical
  • Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team while also showing initiative independently.
  • Comfortable following processes and documenting work accurately.
