Our client is looking for a Planning Coordinator to develop and manage metal trade work scopes. You will work closely with the technical centre to scope, plan, and schedule metals group activities across multiple business units. You will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage work scopes in SAP for annual maintenance plans, repairs, and functional failures.
  • Plan jobs ranging from simple tasks to complex, multi-vendor projects.
  • Optimize plans to minimize downtime and maximize safety and efficiency.
  • Source and manage materials, vendors, and contract services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and planning standards.
  • Monitor performance, costs, and drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Technical work experience ideally within the oil & gas sector with craft qualification i.e. NVQ or HNC in engineering subject e.g. Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Plater / Fabricator, Sheet Metal Workers, Welder.
  • Knowledge of refinery equipment & operations, e.g. pipework, valves, flanges, fittings, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, furnaces, pumps, compressors.
  • Strong planning and SAP experience.
  • Confident in the use of computer programmes e.g. Word & Excel)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

This role is Inside IR35, and the rates advertised are PAYE.
