Quantity Surveyor
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an up and coming main contractor based in Southampton. The business undertakes new build and fit-out projects across the retail, education and commercial sectors valuing up to 5mil. They have ambitious growth plans and any person joining the business has an exciting opportunity to have input into that growth.
About this Quantity Surveyor role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial conception through to completion. You will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be involved in supporting junior members of staff.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Be involved in pre-contract and work winning actvities
- Manage projects commercially working closely with site teams
- Build rapport with client and client representatives
- Manage sub-contract packages and final account
- Mentor junior members of staff
Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:
- Have a proven track record of managing projects from contract award to final account
- Working experience JCT and NEC forms of contract
- Experience working for a main contractor
