A well-established Construction Consultancy who works in multiple sectors, including Residential and commercial, are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their well established and successful team. Based in Southampton but with other offices in key locations, they have built a strong reputation andlooking to push on with their growth plans. A medium sizedmulti-disciplinary Construction Consultancy, they provide a complete Cost Management service with Project Management, Employers Agent and Building Surveying Services. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation founded on the principle of employing the very best people in the industry.

About the role:

  • Lead and manage cost consultancy services across a range of construction projects
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and tender documents
  • Carry out valuations, cost reporting, and change control throughout project lifecycles
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to business development and the growth of the QS team
  • Work closely with other departments to provide a fully integrated service offering

About the requirements:

  • AssocRICS/ MRICS qualified (or working towards Chartership with strong experience)
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering quality
  • Experience in residential or affordable housing sectors is desirable, but not essential

About the salary:

Salary is negotiable, dependent on the individuals experience but up to 75,000. Other benefits RICS subscriptions paid for and well supported career progression.
