Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial

Location: Testwood (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Competitive annual salary

Join Our Commercial Team!

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage projects and work packages through quantity surveying duties.
  • Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costs.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Manage main contracts, issuing notices and correspondence as needed.
  • Prepare subcontract documentation and assist in managing subcontractor performance.
  • Oversee applications for payment and produce project cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support the development of junior commercial staff and maintain your professional growth.
  • Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Working towards or holding chartered membership of a recognized institution.
  • Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
  • NEC3 contract experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing or developing a small team.
