Position: Freight Coordinator
Location: Southampton
Salary: Circa 33k DOE
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Freight Operations professional to join our client's team based in Southampton.
This role is ideal for someone with a diverse Freight background that must include Air Exports.
Freight Coordinator Job Overview
- Manage day-to-day operations for freight imports and exports
- Coordinate with international agents, hauliers, and UK-based customers
- Arrange deliveries and collections
- Assist with providing quotes and handling rate requests
- Prepare and manage shipment documentation
- Deliver excellent communication and customer service to clients and partners
Freight Coordinator Job Requirements
- Experience working directly in the Freight industry (preferably Air Exports)
- Strong background in customer service and administration
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office packages and TMS/WMS systems)
- Experience in managing customs entries and documentations
Freight Coordinator Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 28-35k DOE
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:30
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
