Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Southampton, rated "Good" by Ofsted. This is a medium-sized school with a strong sense of community and a focus on helping both students and staff thrive.
The role mainly involves teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with occasional sixth form classes. The school offers regular CPD throughout the year and is keen to support both newly qualified and experienced teachers. For the right person, there's potential for the role to be extended or even made permanent.

Experience, Training And Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
