Permanent Teacher of Geography (Mainly KS5) - Outstanding Southampton School (Geography Department)

An outstanding school in Southampton is seeking a passionate and expert Permanent Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Geography Department. This role will primarily focus on inspiring our Sixth Form students to excel in A-Level Geography and develop a deep understanding of the dynamic and interconnected world around us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous Geography lessons primarily to A-Level students, covering both physical and human aspects of the subject.
  • Foster a deep and critical understanding of advanced geographical concepts, theories, and fieldwork methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development and enrichment of the A-Level Geography curriculum within the Geography Department.
  • Assess and monitor student progress at A-Level, providing expert guidance and support for their academic success and progression to higher education in geography and related fields.
