We're looking for a Principal iOS Developer to lead the build of a cutting-edge healthtech app that uses computer vision and AI to measure vital signs through a smartphone camera. This role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, and collaboration within a regulated medical software environment.
What You'll Do
Lead architecture and development of a high-performance iOS app.
Work within ISO 13485 / IEC 62304 processes and support product validation.
Mentor developers and raise engineering standards.
Collaborate with AI/ML, backend, product, and design teams.
Drive improvements across testing, automation, and release processes.
What You'll Bring
Expert-level Swift and strong SwiftUI/UIKit skills.
Experience with computer vision (Core Image, AVFoundation, Vision).
Deep understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimisation.
Strong communication and ability to mentor others.
Background in regulated, healthtech, or real-time processing is a bonus.
Experience
7+ years of iOS development, including 2+ years in a lead or principal role.
Proven delivery of high-quality production apps.
