Our manufacturing client in Southampton is seeking a Soldering Technician to join their team.
The role involves electronic and mechanical assembly, including soldering gauge wires and fitting amplifiers, while adhering to IPC 610 standards.
Candidates should have relevant industry experience in PCB Assembly and Soldering, with IPC 610 qualifications being advantageous.
The starting salary for this position is £26,000, with opportunities for increases based on development and training.
Applicants are expected to have some experience in the field, and training for strain gauging will be provided.

Soldering Technician

Our manufacturing client based in Southampton are looking for a Soldering Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities.

Electronic / mechanical assembly of new products, which includes the soldering of gauge wires, fitting of amplifiers / electronics.
To complete strain gauging on new products
Work to IPC 610 standards (if not qualified then an option to once started)
Complete all paperwork associated with new product builds

Ideal Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in PCB Assembly and Soldering to IPC610 standards. Strain Gauging training will be provided.

IPC 610 soldering qualifications would be a distinct advantage but training and the course will be provided..

Salary/Hours/Benefits

£26,000 starting salary, this will increase due to development and training
08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
Profit based bonus
