Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in supporting students with additional needs, working both in class and within a dedicated support hub. You’ll collaborate closely with the SEND department and teaching staff to ensure students receive tailored interventions and guidance that empower them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students with SEN, including those with EHCPs
Assist in planning and delivering engaging support strategies within and outside the classroom
Support emotional wellbeing and academic progress through one-to-one and small group interventions
Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience supporting students with SEN in a secondary school or similar setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to student development
A genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
