SEN Teaching Assistants - SEN Secondary School (Southampton)

We are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated SEN secondary school in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with a range of special educational needs in a specialist setting, helping them achieve their full potential.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to students with complex learning, behavioural, and communication needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons and modifying resources to meet individual requirements.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing within the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and social skills.


Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential.
