About the Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions, processing orders, and ensuring smooth coordination between the sales and logistics teams. Your knowledge of the industry will contribute to efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and handling client queries
- Booking appointments and managing schedules
- Supporting prospective and existing clients via phone, email, and in person
- Assisting the sales team in resolving customer requests efficiently
- Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate payment handling
- Updating customer records in internal systems
- Coordinating deliveries and reordering stock as needed
- Providing quotations and offering after-sales support
- Producing invoices and conducting credit checks
- Maintaining accurate sales records and organising related documentation
- Generating sales reports and identifying opportunities for new products
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a similar Sales Administrator role, ideally within the transport or logistics sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Own transport to commute to and from work
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- A calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
