Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning and making a real difference to their education? GSL Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming secondary school in Southampton who are seeking a dedicated Maths & English Tutor to join them from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a flexible working arrangement, with just a couple of hours per day helping students in small groups or one-to-one sessions. As the academic year progresses, more students are expected to require support, meaning the potential for increased hours will be available for the right candidate.

The Role

Deliver targeted Maths and English tuition to KS3 and KS4 students
Work flexibly for a couple of hours per day at times that suit you and the school
Support students to build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare for assessments
Liaise with teaching staff to ensure tuition aligns with classroom learning

What We’re Looking For

A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential
Experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and/or English at secondary level
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage learners
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the students and the school
