Location: Southampton, UK
Pay Rate:  £20.00- 24 per hour (DOE)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pipe TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, preparation, and TIG welding of Redband carbon steel pipework ranging from 2" to 10" diameter.

This role involves working from technical drawings, fabricating pipe spools, and carrying out high-quality TIG welds to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • TIG welding of Redband carbon steel pipes (2"–10") to a high standard.

  • Fabricating pipework, fittings, and assemblies from drawings or verbal instruction.

  • Preparing and aligning pipework for welding and fit-up.

  • Conducting quality checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance.

  • Working safely and efficiently within workshop and site environments.

  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator (pipework essential).

  • Strong background in carbon steel welding and fabrication.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometrics.

  • Competent in weld preparation, fit-up, and finishing.

  • CSCS or CCNSG card (preferred).

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Own PPE and welding mask preferred.
