Inbound Sales Agent 

**2 nd June Start**

Our client is an established Insurance provider with offices based locally in central Southend.

The purpose of your position will be to ensure that all inbound telephone enquiries are dealt with proactively and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is motivated by achieving sales targets. Full sales training will be provided, and the role includes some weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Inbound Call Handling.  Respond to customer enquiries for insurance needs with professionalism and empathy
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Identify opportunities for additional policy upgrades and cross-sell to enhance value for the customer
  • Accurately assess pre-existing medical conditions to provide appropriate insurance coverage
  • Follow prescribed scripts while building rapport and tailoring conversations to individual customer needs
  • Address and resolve customer queries in line with established service standards, ensuring satisfaction and trust
  • Handle sensitive and personal data in strict accordance with data protection regulations and company policies
  • Actively participate in team meetings, share insights, and support shared objectives
  • Demonstrate courtesy, respect, and a positive attitude in all interactions with customers and colleagues
  • Operate within regulatory guidelines and always adhere to quality assurance standards

Job Details:

  • Working Hours: Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, typically 7.5 hours per day over 5 days
  • Contact Centre Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 8:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
  • Bank Holidays: 9:00am – 5:00pm (closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day)
  • Pay: £24,525 per annum plus a £210 monthly training bonus for the first 6 months (OTE of £30,000+ per year uncapped commissions)
  • Earnings Potential: The top 10% of agents earn an average of £4,600 per year in commission, plus an additional £6,700 per year through their elite bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid Work Model: Eligible for hybrid working after completing probation and meeting KPIs.
