Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver equipment and materials to client sites.
- Operate a company vehicle and work flexible hours, with higher delivery demands during the holiday season.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, trail lifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries.
- Verify the accuracy of orders before loading them onto the vehicle.
- Collect payments from customers and issue receipts as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding any delays or issues that may arise during deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Previous experience as a nationwide deliveries driver preferred.
- Full clean driving licence (minimum 2 years).
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients face-to-face.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to solve challenges.
- Take ownership of the materials and vehicle, recognising that client experience is paramount.
- Familiarity with using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (within Health & Safety Guidelines).
