Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver equipment and materials to client sites.
  • Operate a company vehicle and work flexible hours, with higher delivery demands during the holiday season.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, trail lifts, and other equipment as needed.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders before loading them onto the vehicle.
  • Collect payments from customers and issue receipts as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding any delays or issues that may arise during deliveries.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a nationwide deliveries driver preferred.
  • Full clean driving licence (minimum 2 years).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients face-to-face.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to solve challenges.
  • Take ownership of the materials and vehicle, recognising that client experience is paramount.
  • Familiarity with using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (within Health & Safety Guidelines).
