Job Title: APU Technician
Location: Southend
Remuneration: Up to 42,000

Responsibilities:
- Overhaul, Inspect, and Repair: Take the lead in conducting thorough inspections, overhauls, and repairs of GTCP 85 and 36 series APUs and components, adhering to original manufacturer manuals and instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Your commitment to excellence will ensure that all quality standards and procedures are strictly observed and maintained.
- Safety and Compliance: Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment for all team members.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed workshop reports and material reviews to support accurate customer estimates for purchasing and commercial departments.
- Risk Assessment: Undertake comprehensive risk assessments, ensuring all safety requirements are met with diligence.
- Customer Focus: Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations at all times, ensuring satisfaction remains a priority.
- Procedure Adherence: Demonstrate a strong knowledge of our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and company procedures.
- Additional Duties: Be ready to perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the organisation.
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with GTCP 85 and/or GTCP 36 series APUs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of EASA Pt 145 regulatory requirements for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components.
- Aviation Background: Essential experience in an aviation environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of MS Office and business systems and procedures is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent planning and organisational abilities to manage tasks effectively.
- Team Player: Strong written and oral communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Safety Conscious: Must be highly safety-conscious with a keen attention to detail.
- Tools: Must have your own tools to facilitate your work effectively.
