What You'll Do:
As a Forklift/Warehouse Operative, your role will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your main duties will include:
- Picking Goods: Efficiently select goods for sales orders with precision.
- Order Verification: Double-check orders picked by others to guarantee accuracy.
- Packaging: Package orders correctly, ensuring they are ready for shipping.
- Assembly: Assemble components for orders to meet customer specifications.
- Courier Coordination: Book the right couriers for outgoing goods and ensure all parcels are correctly labelled.
- Safe Transport: Transport parcels onto collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Goods Reception: Receive incoming goods and direct them to the appropriate area or department.
- Safety Check: Continuously monitor your work area for hazards and address them immediately.
- Documentation: Complete manifests, track dispatched orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Stock Management: Conduct daily stock takes and regular inventory checks, notifying the purchasing department of any needs.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Be flexible and ready to assist with various tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid forklift licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
