I am recruiting on behalf of my Client who are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their dedicated team. This role involves providing comprehensive HR support to Clients, including disciplinary, grievance, investigations, and absence management. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Consultants, offering a unique opportunity to develop skills and advance within the field.

Job Description:

  • Conduct disciplinary and grievance meetings and manage investigations, including drafting investigation reports.
  • Handle both long-term and short-term absence cases, including related documentation.
  • Assist in drafting contracts of employment, employee handbooks, and other HR documents using established methodologies.
  • Provide HR administration services, including preparing contracts from templates, updating employee databases, and managing correspondence.
  • Support consultants by preparing documentation, calculations, and general client support.
  • Develop skills to advise clients on a broader range of topics, such as family-friendly procedures, holiday calculations, redundancies, and restructures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role with direct involvement in managing disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct and manage investigations and draft comprehensive reports.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting at all levels of an organisation.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and work under pressure.
  • IT literate with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.
  • A proactive learner, open to feedback and eager to develop professionally.
