HR Adviser - Education Sector - Essex with hybrid working - up to £35,000This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Adviser to join a leading FE College based across Essex. Reporting into the HR Business Partner you will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to all departments across the college. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Supporting all employee relation queries including capability and conduct issues, grievance and disciplinary procedures
  • Working closely with the HR Associate to ensure that probations, absences and changes to contracts are tracked, recorded and processed
  • Taking a lead role in embedding the health & wellbeing strategy
  • Assisting the HR Business Partner in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics
  • Coaching, mentoring and offering advice to both your peers and junior employees

You should be an experienced HR Generalist or an HR Adviser with a track record of dealing with complex employee relations issues, supporting managers with change projects and providing effective HR advice and guidance. You will have experience of working in a fast paced operational environment ideally within the education sector however this is not essential. You must be happy to travel between a couple of sites.
