We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, organising store layouts, and ensuring the smooth operation of our storage facilities. This role requires a full UK driving licence, proficiency in PC use, particularly Excel, and ideally a counterbalance licence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Efficiently manage and organise the storage facilities to ensure easy access and accurate inventory control.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, adhering to safety management standards.
- Update and maintain inventory records on the PC, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or issues to the management team.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are stored correctly and safely.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and overall service delivery.
- Must possess a full UK driving licence.
- Ideally holds a counterbalance forklift licence.
- Proficient in using a PC, especially Excel, for inventory management and data entry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
