Site Manager - Infrastructure / Civils
Location: London
Salary: 拢45,000-拢48,000 + Car Allowance
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure package in Essex.
The project involves a complex mix of enabling works, utilities, and public realm improvements. The successful candidate will play a key role in site operations, helping to deliver critical infrastructure supporting wider urban development.
Role Overview
You'll be responsible for leading on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and programme targets. This role requires strong coordination skills across engineering, commercial, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee site operations to ensure safety, quality, and progress
路Ensure works are delivered in line with approved designs and specifications
路Support planning, technical queries, and stakeholder meetings
路Work with commercial teams on forecasts and cost control
路Manage material logistics and site documentation
Candidate Requirements:
路Civil Engineering qualification
路SMSTS and CSCS
路NEC contract experience preferred
路Strong civils or highways background
路Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate on-site teams
