Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a knack for managing inventory? Our client in Southend is looking for a dedicated Stores Operator to become an integral part of their team!

What You'll Do:

  • Efficient Inventory Management: Keep our storage facilities in top shape, ensuring easy access and accurate inventory control.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Data Accuracy: Update and maintain precise inventory records using PC software, especially Excel.
  • Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks and promptly report any discrepancies.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in the safe and correct loading and unloading of goods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for this role.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence: Ideally, you have this qualification.
  • PC Proficiency: Strong skills in using a PC, particularly Excel.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
