You must either have QTS or QTLS with SET Membership.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience: Recent and relevant experience with the UK Primary National Curriculum is often required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain classroom management.
  • Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Undertake any pastoral duties linked to the role.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and continue the education of the pupils.
