gap healthcare is recruiting on behalf of our client for a compassionate and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee a care and support provision for the elderly.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the care service, ensuring high standards of clinical and emotional care are consistently delivered. This includes managing staff, coordinating care plans, liaising with healthcare professionals and overseeing budgets and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care provision, promoting wellbeing and independence.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, training and performance management.
  • Maintain effective relationships with external healthcare providers and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage budgets and support the upkeep of the property.
  • Promote the core values of compassion, dignity, respect and justice in all aspects of care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ care management experience
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Confident working with elderly individuals in a values-based setting
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
