- Working with Vulnerable Adults with Mental Health
- To undertake statutory duties related to the care of adults and of their carers as defined in the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 1983
- To keep up-to-date with developments, products and information relating to the service and the rest of the council to ensure that appropriate and timely information is given to customers.
- To ensure proportionate risk assessments for both the customer and the carer associated with any support plan have been carried out.
- To undertake reviews of customers with long term needs as required and within statutory timelines and carry out reassessments as required To develop and maintain effective working relationships with all partners (both internal and external) to ensure that the team can deliver a co-ordinated, timely and appropriate service to the customer
- Care management
- Report writing and assessment
- Carrying a caseload of service users
- Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
- Safeguarding Adults
- Self-directed support/personal budgets
- Post qualifying experience of working within a Qualified Social Worker – Adult’s Mental Health position within the UK Social Care industry.
- Knowledge of the Care Act (2014) and other relevant legislation
- SWE Registration
- 1 year post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
