The position of Cleaner/Shunter is a temporary contract based in Southport, requiring evening shifts from 5.30pm to 12.30am, five days a week.

Duties include cleaning buses and vehicles, mopping, sweeping, and ensuring the depot area is tidy, as well as re-fuelling and oil checking the buses.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role, with no more than 6 penalty points, but no previous experience is required.
Candidates must also have safety footwear and a hi-vis vest to meet health and safety regulations.

Day: 5 days per week (any 5 out of 7)

A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE

Duties

Cleaning buses & other vehicles to a high standard
Learning how to drive the buses from parking to cleaning bays (no road driving required)
Mopping, sweeping, cleaning handrails and other touch points
Ensuring the general depot area is clean
Re-fuelling & oil checking the buses
Following Health & Safety regulations

Requirements
