Quality Inspector

We are seeking a responsible Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of sub contracted work. The ideal candidate will be a advocate of quality within the business, possessing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

This role is crucial in ensuring that the company's products are made from flawless materials and well-functioning equipment, ultimately providing our customers with high-quality merchandise and contributing to our long-term success.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Interpret technical specifications and CAD drawings to understand the quality expectations for products and supplies.
  • Develop and implement quality control methods to ensure all materials meet set standards, guidelines, and compliance for company use.
  • Utilise SAGE software to record all inspection reports and quality issues; training on this software will be provided.
  • Approve or reject raw materials, and liaise with suppliers to ensure replacements or repairs meet our requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and input inspection procedures into SAGE software.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inspecting products
  • In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards, in engineering with a manufacturing or assembly background.
  • A full clean driving licence for local travel to and from warehouses is advantageous.
