Your new company
Hays Education Sefton is a market-leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Sefton Local Authority. We are currently working with a Formby-based Primary School to recruit an EYFS teacher to take on full class teaching responsibilities with their Year 3 class.


Your new role
This role involves full class teaching responsibilities including long-term planning and marking, starting in September.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
  • Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment..
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience


What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. You must meet the below core criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
  • You must have experience using the Read Write INC phonics scheme

If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years. We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
