To take responsibility for accounts payable, receivable assisting with payroll and reporting to ensuring best practice across the finance administration function.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Finance Assistant:
- Providing administrative assistance to the finance team
- Process purchase invoices
- Raise sales invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for invoice payment resolution
- Managing timesheets for payroll and amending working hours and overtime rates
Profile
The successful Finance Assistant applicant will have:
- A couple of years experience in a finance role eg; purchase ledger, sales ledger, accounts assistant or a trainee role
- Previous use of an accounting system in a professional environment
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
