Contract: Full time – September 2025 start

Location: Southsea

Salary: £82.20 - £90 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions guided by EHCPs and individual learning plans
  • Support children with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and social communication
  • Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and families to ensure each child receives the scaffolding they need to thrive
  • Promote inclusive practice within the classroom, celebrating every success, big or small
  • Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning through calm, consistent support

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs etc.)
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Childcare, Supporting Teaching & Learning)
  • Bring patience, empathy, and a team-focused approach
  • Understand the importance of regulation strategies, visual aids, and clear communication
  • Are committed to safeguarding and upholding the highest standards in child welfare
