Financial Controller | Full-Time | Lincolnshire
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing business based in Lincolnshire, currently looking to appoint a committed and commercially astute Financial Controller.
This is a pivotal position within a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive finance professional with strong leadership capability and a hands-on approach to day-to-day financial management. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic goals while maintaining a firm grip on the financial health of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function

Managing the budgeting and forecasting process across the business

Preparing accurate and timely financial and management reports

Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts

Coordinating and managing the year-end audit process
-
Acting as the primary contact for external auditors and ensuring compliance

Providing commercial insight to drive operational and financial decision-making
-
Monitoring and analysing business performance and cost control
-
Managing payroll, VAT submissions, and compliance with HMRC regulations

Developing and improving internal financial controls and processes
To be considered for this role, you will need:

A proven track record in a similar position – ideally as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role within a product or operations-focused environment

A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)

Strong working knowledge of financial systems – experience with Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is advantageous
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support senior stakeholders
