Our recruitment team is supporting a well-established industrial group in the search for an experienced HSE Leader. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple UK sites.

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of robust HSE strategies, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. The role includes oversight of audits and inspections, management of incident investigations and delivery of practical improvements that enhance site performance and reduce risk. Working closely with local HSE teams, you will provide guidance, coaching and strategic direction to maintain the highest standards across the group.

We are looking for a proven HSE professional with senior management experience in manufacturing, recycling or heavy industry. A strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental regulations is essential, as is a NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent). Excellent leadership and communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach will be key to success.

Based in the Nottinghamshire area with regular travel to UK sites in the Leicestershire area.
