Our Newark based client is looking for an Administrator to join their growing team on a Full Time, Permanent basis.

THE ROLE

The duties of an Administrator will include:

  • Ensure clients receive great service.
  • Providing all aspects of administrative and secretarial support to the Director and the technical team.
  • Responsible for the accurate set up and maintenance of client records on our database and with HMRC.
  • Liaising with staff from other offices where necessary.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Reception duties (telephone answering, greeting clients, drinks etc).
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Covering for absence of receptionist.
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal person for the Administrator role will have excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at varied levels. The following experience and skills are required:

  • Relevant previous experience in an office environment - including administrative and secretarial duties.
  • Reception duties, preferably in a professional services firm, but not essential.
  • Confident at communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Motivated, organised and efficient individual.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting tasks.
  • Helpful, accommodating attitude - a great team player.
  • Well presented.
  • Good GCSE/O-level results (minimum Grade C in Mathematics & English Language).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; with experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience of maintenance of client/customer records is preferred.
