UK Sales Manager - Events (Food & Beverage Industry)

We're excited to be working with an ambitious, fast-growing food brand that's transforming how people experience high-quality, nutritious meals across the UK. With significant growth under their belt and plans to scale further, they're looking for a UK Sales Manager to lead their field-based customer acquisition efforts via events and activations.
The Role
This is a dynamic and strategic position combining event management, sales optimisation, and team leadership. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering nationwide events, building a network of Brand Ambassadors, and ensuring consistent, engaging customer experiences that directly drive revenue growth.
You'll operate as the key link between the field and the wider commercial team, using data and insights to continually improve how and where the brand shows up in person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong commercial acumen to every decision.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the national field sales strategy through live events and brand activations
- Recruiting, training, and managing a team of freelance Brand Ambassadors
- Developing and refining event planning processes, sales targets, and performance metrics
- Ensuring every event is on-brand and delivers a high-quality customer experience
- Monitoring sales performance, tracking ROI, and recommending strategic improvements
- Collaborating with Marketing and Operations to align messaging and logistics
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L for event-based sales activities
- Identifying new opportunities to grow brand presence across regions and channels
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a field sales or ambassador programme role (ideally within FMCG, food & beverage, or D2C sectors)
- A commercially driven mindset, comfortable owning budgets and sales targets
- Strong people management skills, especially with remote or freelance teams
- Highly organised, with a passion for continuous improvement
- Confident communicator who excels in high-energy, customer-centric environments
- Passion for food, wellness, or consumer products is a big plus
