Site Engineer - East Midlands (Nottinghamshire)

We're currently working with a well-established civil engineering and construction business that delivers high-quality projects across the UK and Ireland. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they're now looking to bring a Site Engineer on board for projects based in the East Midlands - mainly around Nottinghamshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their engineering career. You'll play a key role in the delivery of a range of projects across sectors including civil engineering, residential, commercial, and water infrastructure.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects, focusing on earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructures

  • Managing subcontractors on site and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

  • Ordering and quantifying materials accurately

  • Working to programme deadlines and keeping projects on track

  • Building strong relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors

  • Ensuring all work meets high standards in quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance

  • Learning and growing within a supportive team, with regular development opportunities



What We're Looking For:

  • A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a team environment

  • Someone who's driven by deadlines and can motivate others to meet project goals

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally with experience in adoptable drainage and roads

  • A relevant degree in Construction Engineering or a related field

  • Experience working on residential and/or commercial builds

  • Confident using AutoCAD, Total Station, and standard IT tools like MS Office

  • Full UK driving licence required
