Project Manager - Street Lighting & Comms (Civil Engineering)
Location: Nottingham, UK
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected client in the civil engineering sector. They are seeking a Project Manager with essential experience in street lighting and communications systems to join their Nottingham-based team on a 3-month rolling contract.
Important Requirement - Please Read Before Applying:
Experience in both street lighting and communications systems within a civil engineering environment is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee end-to-end delivery of street lighting and comms infrastructure on civil engineering projects
路Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities
路Ensure all works comply with CDM regulations and health & safety standards
路Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress
路Provide clear reporting to senior management and clients
路Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders as required
Essential Experience:
路Proven background as a Project Manager in civil engineering
路Direct experience managing street lighting and communications infrastructure (e.g., traffic signals, control systems, fibre, or comms ducting)
路Strong understanding of construction and highways environments
路Excellent planning, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills
路Full UK driving licence
路SMSTS or similar safety qualification preferred
