Body Repair Technician

Newark, Full Time, Permanent

Salary Dependent on Experience

Our long-established automotive Client in Newark is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role

The key duties performed by the Body Repair Technician will include, but not be limited to:

  • Replacing damaged bodywork components
  • Refitting and repairing GRP and aluminium panels
  • Rebuilding wooden cabinets and internal structures
  • Carrying out repairs
  • Working to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Diagnosing issues
The Candidate

The successful Body Repair Technician will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a Bodyshop environment within the automotive industry
  • Commercial vehicle bodywork
  • Motorhome or caravan repair / manufacturing knowledge or experience
  • Understanding of materials including GRP, aluminium and timber
  • Proficiency in hand and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

Ideally, you will possess relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications.
