A very well-established bespoke manufacturing business in rural Lincolnshire is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Management Accountant to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant who is ready to take on greater responsibility and make a long-term impact.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll be involved in all aspects of financial reporting, systems development, and strategic finance.

The role offers a clear pathway towards becoming Group Accountant, forming part of the companys long-term succession planning.

The Opportunity

As Management Accountant, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations across six businesses within the group. Your work will be central to ensuring strong financial control, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

The role begins with a focus on overhauling current practices to increase efficiency and insight preparing you for a broader remit over time. Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for six group entities
  • Lead improvements in systems, controls, and reporting processes
  • Support decision-making through insightful financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and develop a small finance team
  • Contribute to the financial leadership and commercial strategy of the business
What Were Looking For
  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with relevant experience
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems able to manage implementation and reporting improvements
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships across the business
  • A team player with drive, initiative, and enthusiasm for process improvement
