Electrical Design Manager - The Role:

  • Design electrical systems for a range of projects. This includes electrical schematics, cable schedules, BOM’s, control panel layouts and cable management
  • Working with the senior management team, you will be responsible managing the manufacturing team, and delivering documentation on time to ensure the workshop schedule and site deadlines are met
  • Utilise electrical design software (EPLAN) to create 2D/3D models, circuit diagrams and any applicable calculations that may be required.
  • Collaborate with the SMT and project leads as well as other contractors to ensure project scope and timelines are adhered to
  • Attend site when required to develop URS / FDS
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ease of implementation
  • Troubleshoot design issues and optimise electrical designs for performance, safety, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and present design concepts
  • Address client concerns or queries throughout the design and development process
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed
  • Conduct site surveys when required

Electrical Design / Controls Manager - The Person:

  • The ideal candidate will be an established Electrical Design Engineer with a experience in designing, overseeing the manufacturing and testing of control panels, coordinating the installation and commissioning of automation equipment
  • The role requires knowledge of electrical and control principles, design software, and industry standards to produce reliable, cost-effective solutions that meet safety and performance requirements
  • Proficiency in Electrical Design CAD software (EPlan desirable)

Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from King's Lynn, Spalding, Peterborough, Wisbech, Ely and surrounding areas, hybrid working is also available.
