About the Role

As Head of HR, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the HR function. You’ll work closely with the Board to shape and deliver a people strategy that supports organisational growth, performance, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Group-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise senior leaders on reward, organisational design, and change management.
  • Lead diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession, and talent management.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and productivity.
  • Design and deliver learning and development programmes.
  • Manage performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Lead cultural transformation and embed company values.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within a commercial SME.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Confident in advising managers on all aspects of people management.
  • Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Commercially astute with a professional approach to HR.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
