Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering with an FMCG business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer. This role is key to ensuring the continued performance and reliability of production equipment while supporting daily operational demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the wider Engineering and Operations teams to deliver effective maintenance support across production lines.
  • Carry out inspections and conduct breakdown response activities to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Contribute to a preventative maintenance strategy, ensuring timely servicing of machinery and minimal disruption to output.
  • Identify and recommend technical improvements and safety upgrades to ensure equipment performance.
  • Log and report any equipment faults or repair requirements, maintaining optimal functionality across the site.
  • Organise and prioritise maintenance tasks efficiently to avoid delays and ensure smooth production flow.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Practical experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role within a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
