As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering exciting and interactive lessons, fostering a love for learning, and supporting students in their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities of KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Inspire and challenge students to achieve their best in core subjects.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and creativity.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and staff to support student development.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.

Requirements of KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working within the classroom teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Passion for primary education and student progress.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
