About the Role
I am recruiting on behalf of a respected provider of residential childcare services for children and young people. We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join a supportive, passionate, and forward-thinking team in Weston, Spalding.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or an existing Deputy Manager who is ready to take on greater responsibility and play a key leadership role within a nurturing, child-focused environment.
You will work as part of an experienced leadership team across a group of children's homes, supported by a well-established national organisation that values creativity, development, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
路Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
路Lead, motivate, and supervise a dedicated team of support staff, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
路Ensure safeguarding practices are consistently implemented and that the welfare of young people remains the top priority.
路Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and the implementation of individual care strategies.
路Manage rotas, budgets, and staffing levels effectively.
路Promote the organisation's therapeutic approach and contribute to continuous service improvement.
路Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Requirements
路Minimum 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's Home, ideally as a Senior or Deputy Manager.
路Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People.
路Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
路Experience managing budgets, staffing, and rotas.
路Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Hours
Full-time position, working long day shifts and participating in sleep-in duties.
