Control Systems Engineer - The Role:
- Develop, test and commission PLC software and HMI code for new projects using Siemens TIA Portal, Omron and Mitsubishi
- Maintain, support and continuously improve the performance of existing software
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating software version control, software registers and software release notes
- Support colleagues around the business in the execution of client’s work – including,  attending customer meetings, customer sites, internal project meetings, supplier meetings
- This role will be mainly office based (with an option for hybrid working) with occasional client site work at the commissioning phase of projects
Control Systems Engineer - The Person:
- Have comprehensive knowledge of Siemens TIA portal, Omron or Mitsubishi PLCs
- Any additional experience of drives, vision systems and hardware design would be beneficial but not required
- Have strong communication skills - clearly and regularly communicating with management and technical support colleagues
- Keen to develop yourself and your skills to ensure your technical skills remain current.
Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from King's Lynn, Spalding, Peterborough, Wisbech, Ely and surrounding areas, hybrid working is also available.
