Finance Officer – Spilsby – £23,650Chase & Holland are exclusively partnering with a forward-thinking, not for profit organisation in the Lincolnshire area, who are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to provide administrative and operational support to the Management Accountant in providing financial controls, services and reporting. Finance Officer Responsibilities:
  • Processing accounts payable invoices including preparing regular supplier payments
  • Post cash payments to the ledger
  • Ensure invoices are approved appropriately
  • Assist with raising sales ledger invoices
  • Assist with the recording of financial records
  • Various reconciliations as part of the month end closedown, including, accounts receivable control account, petty cash reconciliations and other associated balance sheet reconciliations
  • Production of schedules as part of the month end process for accrued and deferred income
  • Assist in the reconciliation and posting of entries relating to company charge cards
  • Support colleagues with ad hoc management information and reporting
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience within a similar varied accounts role
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team
  • Strong IT and systems skills including basic Excel
